Indonesia where Boston Ministers Michele Drew and Ksenia Castagna traveled to assist in tsunami relief
Scientology Disaster Response of Boston:
Trauma, loss, upset, stress and confusion affect both disaster victims and disaster responders. Scientology Disaster Response volunteers are professionally trained to address these aspects of emergencies. The motto is that no matter what the situation, SOMETHING CAN BE DONE ABOUT IT! Volunteer Ministers Ksenia Castagna and Michele Drew bravely traveled to the island of Sumatra shortly after the tsunami disaster struck. There they worked in hospitals and in the neighborhoods assisting the community. Later dozens of Boston volunteers traveled to the Golf Coast to assist in the relief of the Hurricane Katrina disaster.
In addition to their expertise in organizing confused areas so vital services can be delivered to victims and other disaster responders, Scientology Volunteers Ministers provide spiritual "assists" developed by L. Ron Hubbard to alleviate the emotional and spiritual components of physical pain, shock and trauma. The Boston team serves volunteers from the New England area and has sent responders to Indonesia, Ground Zero and Louisiana. If you are interested in training or joining our relief effort please contact the Scientology Disaster Response Coordinator of Boston, Rev. Nanette Ciano at (617) 266-9500.
